Fanikeshwar Nath Govt. College Fingeshwar, Dist. Gariyaband (C.G.) has gone across a long and difficult journey from a humble School building in 2013 to an extensive abundant green campus spread over an area of 10 acres. The Fingeshwar town is situated on the Banks of The River Sukha and charming forest greenery of nature used to be a significant state.
Fanikeshwar Nath Govt. College Fingeshwar, Dist. Gariyaband (C.G.) provides a holistic approach to Graduate Education which is a conglomeration of both Modern and Traditional skills. Its aim is to produce quality students, who will guide the nation with their innovative and technical expertise. Here we provide our students all facilities i.e., Education, Research and Training under one roof. Here we try our best to focus on individual talent, aspiration, and career.
We create a conducive atmosphere for the students to instill in them the right path, skills, knowledge, and attitude to face the challenge of life and take the nation into a new dimension of success and technical know-how.
It is located approximately 56 k.m. away from the district head quarters Gariyaband. Fanikeshwar Nath Govt. College Fingeshwar, Dist. Gariyaband (C.G.) was established in 2013 in the building of Thakur Dalganjan Singh Govt. Boys higher secondary school Fingeshwar . The college shifted in Its new building in January 2017 with all the faculties of B.A., B.sc. and B.com. Here B.Sc. Math class started in the year 2019. Since Fingeshwar is a tribal area therefore 70% of the students are from the Tribal area. Here out of all the strengths, 841 regular students are admitted and 400 students are private.
Every year students of the college represent the college at the District level, University level, and state level in Sports, NSS, Cultural programs, etc.
This is a co-educational college that caters to the needs of students of Fingeshwar and nearby rural areas. The college has a very sound and strong infrastructural foundation with an Administrative Block, an Arts Block, a Science Block, a Commerce Block, a Seminar-cum-Conference Hall with ICT tools, a well-furnished Staff Room, and Library. It has well-equipped Science Labs and a Geography Lab.
The college offers quality education and works for the holistic development of rural students. Various committees, clubs, and departments organize a variety of competitions, extension lectures, expert talks, cultural events, the celebration of significant days, etc. Even during lockdown the teachers had been meeting online classes via digital platforms and have been constantly in touch with the students through WhatsApp groups, emails, video-audio calls, etc.
